DTL and ELIXIR endorse Data Citation Principles

DTL and ELIXIR both actively support the Data Citation Principles created by Force11. Force11 is a community of scholars, librarians, archivists, publishers and research funders that has arisen organically to help facilitate the change toward improved knowledge creation and sharing. Their aim is to bring about a change in modern scholarly communications through the effective use of information technology. DTL is involved in the development of these principles via the FAIRport initiative that aims at making scientific data ‘FAIR’, in the sense of being Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Re-usable.
