Together with Breed4Food, the Technology foundation STW launches the ambitious Breed4Food Partnership programme: ‘Predicting phenotypes of livestock’. The Breed4Food Partnership focusses on the development of novel genetic and genomic tools through innovative science, beneficial to the breeding, production and consumption of animal proteins with a strong commitment to responsible stewardship of animal resources.
For this program a budget of € 3,000,000 is available. The maximum of project costs that can be requested from STW is € 750,000 per project. Typical Partnership project duration is between 2 to 4 years, but may not exceed 5 years.
Proposals can be submitted on the all application areas as defined in the Breed4Food Partnership programme
