The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is preparing a new programme “Big Data for Better Outcomes”, focused on maximising the potential of big data in health care. The idea behind the programme is to better analyse the differences in health outcomes within and across health care systems and regions.
Currently IMI is seeking input on the scope and objectives of the programme and which therapeutic areas (Alzheimer disease, hematologic malignancies, cardiovascular disceases, MS) would benefit most from such a programme. You can provide input until June 25, 2015 via this link. The provisional launch date of the programme is September 2015.
