The Biomarker Development Center organises a conference ‘Validation of Biomarkers – Bridging the innovation gap through integrated technologies’ on 6 October 2017 in De Doelen in Rotterdam. You can visit the conference website here.
This meeting will bring together experts from Analytical and Technology Sciences, Clinical Chemists, and Medical Research to present their data and exchange information on topics related to Biomarker Validation using mass spectrometry and other techniques. The conference is organised by Dr Theo Luider (ErasmusMC), Professor Rainer Bischoff (University of Groningen), Professor Ron Wevers (Radboudumc, Nijmegen), and Professor Alain van Gool (Radboudumc).
An attendance of about 200 participants is expected. As this conference is linked to an EU Cost action about biomarker validation (CliniMARK; CA16113), we also expect attendance from members of 25 European countries linked to this COST initiative. Just to mention a few key note speakers that have accepted the invitation to address the audience: Professor Mathias Mann (Max Planck Institute Martinsried/ Munich), Professor Arfan Ikram (Alzheimer’s disease, Erasmus MC), Professor Guy Brussele (COPD, Ghent University), and Professor Gyorgy Marco-Varga (University of Lund).
