This year, the Dutch Data Prize will be awarded for the fifth time, to a researcher or research group that has made a special contribution to science by making research data accessible for new or additional research.
Just as in 2016, there will be a Data Prize in three categories: humanities & social sciences, exact & technical sciences, and medical & life sciences. Are you a researcher with a good example of shared data? Or do you know someone who is? You can nominate yourself, another researcher, or a research group through researchdata.nl. Deadline for nominations is 1 July 2018; the prize consists of a sculpture and € 5.000 to make the data (even) more accessible.
