ELIXIR’s FAIR Training working group published a paper in PLoS Computational Biology – ‘10 Simple Rules for Making training materials FAIR.’

Imagine you’d want to produce a new bioinformatics training course or update an existing one.  However, appropriate materials are scattered across different repositories, siloed in their home institutions and/or lack the metadata required to re(use) them.

This is a classical problem which can be tackled by FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) principles.

The ELIXIR working group on FAIR training (part of the ELIXIR Training Platform) now published 10 simple rules that help develop and share FAIR training resources.
