Programmers Meetings

DTL and SURF frequently organise Programmers Meetings to encourage collaboration and communication between scientific programmers in the Dutch life sciences.

We ask participants to register beforehand. Announcements and agenda discussions are posted on DTL’s Programming-Interest mailing list. Please make sure to be a member of that list.

The meetings are organized at the fantastic facilities of SURF in Utrecht. This venue is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the central railway station in Utrecht, direction of Hoog Catharijne. Please come by public transport, with the reconstruction of the city center in Utrecht parking is a mess.

Topics of the lectures and workshops range from new developments in programming languages to practical tips for life science applications, and more. We are collecting ideas! Speakers are usually members of the group (i.e. Dutch programmers). The agenda of the meeting leaves plenty of time for participants to interact with each other.
