On 9-11 June, ABN AMRO will organise an open ‘Beyond Banking’ hackathon in the ‘Sugar Factory’ in Halfweg, between Amsterdam and Haarlem. Workshop Future of Metabolomics in ELIXIR: a report

On 25 April 2017, ELIXIR-NL and ELIXIR Germany organised a workshop ‘Future of Metabolomics in ELIXIR’ at Frankfurt Airport, in collaboration with the PhenoMeNal project and the Netherlands Metabolomics Centre. More than 30 persons from 10 countries participated. A summary report from the workshop is now available.

Data Carpentry Genomics comes to the Netherlands

In March 2017, one of the first Data Carpentry Genomics workshops in Europe was organised by DTL/ELIXIR-NL, the Netherlands eScience Center, University Medical Center Utrecht, and SURFsara. Twenty-five life science researchers from across the Netherlands and Germany joined the event. The workshop covered multiple aspects of working with genomics data. Read more.

4TU.Centre for Research Data has introduced two funds to support researchers in their research data management: the Data Refinement Fund and the Data Paper Fund.
