BYTE 2026 : Bioinformatics Young Talent Exchange –

Place: Health-RI, Beatrix building Jaarbeurs, 5th floor, Jaarbeursplein 6 Utrecht.
Every year, we host this event to introduce PhD students in their starting phase (or interested in a PhD) to the BioSB research school and have an opportunity to meet fellow peers throughout the Netherlands.
We will have three speakers, Lianne Suurenbroek (final year PhD student), Dr. Ammar Ammar (graduated PhD working at The Hyve), and Prof. Patrick Kemmeren (representative from the BioSB research school). They will share their experiences and tips and tricks they think you should know at the start of your PhD.
We will finish the event with drinks, snacks, and the possibility to get to know each other better!
