CTMM-TraIT stays heavily involved in TranSMART development

CTMM’s Translational research IT project (TraIT) stays heavily involved in the work on the open-source tranSMART software. Through TraIT partner The Hyve, development of the next major new release has started, and the tranSMART data model was brought back in line with the i2b2 workbench. DTL is a partner of CTMM-TraIT.

DTL Data setup and approach published in F1000 Research

Lars Eijssen (Maastricht University), Rob Hooft (DTL and the Netherlands eScience Center) and colleagues just published a paper in the journal F1000 Research entitled Enabling data-intensive life science research in the Netherlands. TraIT platform welcomes 1,000th researcher

TraIT, one of DTL’s close collaborators in the DTL DATA programme, welcomes its 1,oooth researcher to register for the TraIT platform. Peggy Langenhoff, research coordinator Internal Medicine from the Elisabeth-TweeSteden Hospital in Tilburg uses the platform in the Commence trial, a study initiated by Radboud UMC in Nijmegen. CTMM-TraIT makes Chipster available for biomedical studies

Chipster,  a user-friendly, open-source, high-throughput data analysis software tool created and maintained by the IT Center for Science (CSC, Finland), has been released for use in CTMM-TraIT.
