Cluster Computing for Life Sciences

Learn basic skills in high-performance computing. In this workshop you will learn how to work more efficiently with your computer via the command line, how to automate your data analysis pipelines and how to use compute cluster. The workshop content is build around life science and bioinformatics examples.

Who: The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers, particularly from life sciences, who would like to know how to use a supercomputer. You don’t need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop.

When: Apr 23-24, 2019.

Requirements: Participants must bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating system (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.).
