We are pleased to invite you for the 5th IBS Channel Network Conference (20-22 April 2015). This biennial conference is organized by the regions Belgium, France, Great-Britain/Ireland and the Netherlands of the International Biometric Society. This time it will take place in the beautiful and lively city of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It is located along the river Waal, the main branch of the river Rhine.
The meeting aims to discuss the newest statistical methodology for the analysis of biological and medical data. The first morning there is a choice of two courses: splines (Paul Eilers) and INLA (Andrea Riebler). It is followed by 2 days of contributed and invited sessions. A keynote session will be presented by Sylvia Richardson. Invited sessions are organized on Confounder Modelling and Selection, Dynamic Prediction and Integrated Population Modelling. The conference will be closed with a satellite meeting on Inferring Dynamic Genetic Networks.
