Joint scNL/BioSB symposium on Computational Methods for Spatial data analysis
November 17th 2023, BioSB HotTopics and scNL co-organised a hot-topic symposium on Computational Methods for Spatial data analysis in the Leiden University Medical Center.
With 50 participants, the meeting was fully booked and the room packed. The meeting featured inspring talks by researchers of various seniority: Laura Heezen (LUMC) gave an an introduction to spatial genomics techniques, Alberto Gil Jimenez (NKI) presented his work on the relation between spatial charactaristics of tumors and immune check point inhibitor response, Perry Moerland (AMC) talked about deconvolution methods for spatial transcriptomics data, Marieke Ijsselsteijn (LUMC) about integration of spatial proteomics modalities, and Ahmed Mahfouz (LUMC) gave an overview of integrative analysis methods of spatial omics data.
The day ended with drinks and networking for the growing community of researchers working on this exciting topic.
