Conference: Connecting Data for Research

Researchers who wish to enrich their research by using open research data or by making their own data available, are confronted by a huge number of tools and techniques. How to select and work with the correct technique or the best tool for your research?

This congress will focus on good practices concerning the collecting, structuring, visualising and sharing of research data. In two plenary keynotes by Mireille van Eechoud, Professor of Information Law at the UvA, and Barend Mons, Professor of Bioinformatics at the Leiden University Medical Center, the (im)possibilities and the future of sharing open data will be addressed.
