Luiz Bonino is the Chief Technology Officer for FAIR Data at the Dutch Techcentre for Life Sciences and researcher in the Centre for integrative Bioinformatics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Twente in the areas of conceptual modeling, ontology engineering, semantic interoperability, service-oriented computing, context-aware computing and requirements engineering. Due to his mixed background on both academic and industrial environments, he leads an international team working on technical infrastructural solutions for FAIR Data.
Rob van Eijk is a PhD candidate at Leiden University, Dual PhD Centre, Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs. His research is focused on Web privacy measurement. He served as an expert for the Council of Europe at the Internet Governance Forum. Since 2010 he works for the Dutch Data Protection Authority. He has been representing the Dutch DPA in international meetings such as the Technology Subgroup of the Article 29 Data Protection Working Party and the International Working Group on Data Protection in Telecommunications. He represented the Article 29 Data Protection Working Party in the multi-stakeholder negotiations on Do Not Track held by the World Wide Web Consortium.
