The catalogue working group works to make facilitate sharing of data and improve use of biological samples collected in biobanks through catalogues. To achieve this we apply the FAIR principles for findable, accessible and reusable data. The working group focusses on development and sharing of tools and common standards to facilitate the interchange of data at all levels, ranging from the descriptive (level 1) biobanks catalogues to the detailed (level 4) study catalogues. We have strong links with the biosemantics and standardization efforts in biobanking in the Netherlands and Europe.
Members of the working group come from BBMRI, Parelsnoer, CTMM TraIT and the UMCs.
